Green Futures Internship Host Application

INTERNSHIP HOSTING GRANTS

Across two cohorts we are looking for organisations, social enterprises and businesses to host a  21 hours per week internship for 16 weeks for someone aged 18-24.

Cohort 1 May- August 2024 & Cohort 2 April 2025.

Interns receive a living wage rate per hour which covers time with the host, travel and bi weekly training sessions with Feedback.) Together we will construct a role description as well as any requirements needed.

• Hosts will be encouraged to manage the payroll of the grant, however we are open to hosts that are not in a position to payroll staff. We are happy to discuss the grant and agreement requirements. (NI and pensions also included in grant)
• The Green Futures Team will advertise the placement and support recruitment processes.
• We have the possibility to look at additional transport cost options to allow for diversity of access to increase.
